Nice performances but nothing spectacular. It's not a favorite Woody Allen movie nor is it terrible. Cate Blanchett started to progress towards the end at a performance worthy of all these awards she is getting but I've seen better this year.
The script wasn't Allen's best but the story was original and a nice one to watch but it never really played out well. Sally Hawkins is also nominated an not really deservingly but overall, it was a nice ensemble performance just a poor script.
