Cate Blanchet won a deserving Oscar for Best Actress in this movie. She does not need to change her appearance, increase or lose weight. She just concentrates on her performance, which is mesmerizing, Cate is spot on whenever her character changes mood abruptly.
Woody Allen has a style. He always make films that pleases him, without bothering what the market desires. He is in top form here, with his signature humour and chaos.
