Blanchette gives a great performance which has to carry the whole movie on her shoulders. I'm not sure who popped more pills on screen, her or Streep in August:Osage County. She won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role but I still would have given it to Streep, whose performance was sometimes humorous but vastly disturbing.
This movie is worth watching for Blanchette's performance alone and that's about it. Baldwin and the rest of the cast were just window dressings with no actual supporting roles.
