Review of Blue Jasmine (2013) by Cherie A — 06 Jun 2015

Cate deserved the Oscar for this hands down! Her portrayal of a wealthy socialite falling from grace & undergoing a nervous breakdown is on the verge of incredible. She looks like she went through hell filming this but damn did it pay off - poor Jasmine became so desperate & delusional that I almost felt sorry for her.

I think the saddest part of the whole thing is Jasmine actually deserved everything she had coming. Awkward real life dramas like this are so much fun to watch.
