Review of Blue Jasmine (2013) by Ronnie Y — 01 May 2014
Woody Allen has shown that the field of their work and give a comeback in "Blue Jasmine". The film holds a great cast: Cate Blanchett as Jasmine, is totally speechless. I loved her performance and was more than fair she had won the Oscar for Best Actress this year.
I was surprised with other performances, like Sally Hawkins, who shone in "Mike Leigh's Happy-Go-Lucky" in 2009 and I liked very well, but she surprised to Blue Jasmine as the authoritative and independent Ginger.
Alec Baldwin, Peter Sarsgaard, Alden Ehrenreich, among others, their performances were amazing and could not be otherwise being directed by a director as gifted as Woody Allen, who also showed surprise at the script, showing that despite some failures in recent years, he is super controlled and does not lose his talent, and has shown that in "Midnight in Paris".
I laughed, thrilled me with the new masterpiece of Woody. It's wonderful, fantastic ...
