Review of Blue Jasmine (2013) by David W — 18 May 2015
Very polished performance from Cate Blanchett which is no surprise. The real surprise is the subtle and refined performance from Andrew Dice Clay which, again no surprise, he is a very good actor but the surprise is that finally he had the material here to work with! As a stand up comic his ability to create a persona but more importantly 'connects,' with the audience which has done here to great effect.
Where was his best supporting actor award? A great work of cinema!
