Review of Blue Jasmine (2013) by Borhan K — 22 Mar 2014
Blue Jasmine is about a socialite wife. Jasmine is a women that marry's into her success and plays the rich wife and turn a blind eye to her husbands extra marital affairs.
Cate Blanchett plays the role so well I feel irritated when watching this film.
She is going through massive depression and denial of her situation that she goes on a adventure to find a man that is again all rich and powerful to re-estate her status in high society.
This is a Woddy Allen movie and has a Woody Allen feel to it.
The movie cuts in and out of present time and the past going into Jasmines head of past events, that give you the back story of how she got to where she is now.
Although PG 13 that subject matter is very adult and is not suitable I feel for kids.
This is a quirky flick that a special kind of audience would be attracted to.
This is a one time movie for me.
