Well, I had a totally different take on this film.
I found it brutally honest and insightful.
I saw Blue Collar Boys in Syracuse NY last week. The audience was a mixture of blue collar workers, film buffs, students, and retirees. We were all stunned by the film. Some comments: "I've lived this my whole life", "Scary and true", "Is there no other choice than being an honest worker and getting screwed or becoming a crook?"Â .
What's awful about this movie is the situation the characters are in. What's beautiful is how the filmmaker tells their story.
