Review of Blue Blood (2006) by Private U — 29 May 2012
A competent documentary on the annual oxford-cambridge boxing match. yes...i used boxing and oxford-cambridge in the same sentence. which is what makes this piece of film rather intriguing; revealing that we're all pretty much the same.
through a group of guys' journey to being selected as `blues', it challenges perceptions of social stereotypes and classes. And unites with individuals identifying with the same inner- struggles.
Ultimately, whether winner or loser, there's a sense of achievement through self-awareness; triumph over adversity.
