Review of Blue Beetle (2023) by Infrarecon — 02 Sep 2023

I didn't expect anything from this film, I was expecting this to be worse than Wonder Woman or Aquaman but I am Surprised.

Now this is a generic Superhero Film that will most likely not get a sequel due to the way DC is going, but If you are planning to watch this it's a safe Superhero movie, with solid acting, some good themes and some actually heart.

What I found bad about the film are these things:

The Sister, until the end.

The Generic, "I don't want the power or be a superhero type of deal".

The bad guy is just a bad guy for no reason.

Some CGI scenes are like Power Rangers on a higher budget. Ratings, Vamos:

- Visuals and CGI: 8/10, good.

- Story and Dialogue: 8/10, It is Funny, enjoyable, and filled with a lot of good moments.

- Action: 6/10, Lacking a little because the film leans a bit too much on the origin story, but when it's on, it's ON.

- Music: 5/10, Average Give him a good theme instead of "bwah, bwah bwwaah".

- Pacing and Logic 8/10: I would have liked it longer for Action Scenes like Man of Steel Did.

You were so close to an 8/10, omfg, this is a good film. It does a good origin story but misses a few key things.

Watch it, enjoy it, maybe forget it, and perhaps it might get a sequel. If it does, they need to go hard.

Keep this type of storytelling, increase action, and improve visuals, give him a theme.

You do all of that and you'll have a film that will break the sequel Curse and one to remember.

Ok that's it, it's a well-deserved 7/10, really surprised this is good, honestly.
