Review of Blow-Up (1966) by Susan G — 16 Feb 2008
Antonioni's must-see essay on the blurry lines between the real and the imagined, entangled with a murder mystery and 1960s mod London. David Hemmings excels as the iconic and emotionally empty photographer.
Also features a very cryptic Vanessa Redgrave, the snake-like supermodel Veruschka, and Ricky-Tick cameos from Jimmy Page & Jeff Beck-era Yardbirds.
