Review of Blow-Up (1966) by Ian F — 05 Mar 2008
I've seen this film three times now, and while it's aesthetically compelling and at times wildly entertaining, it's also kind of irritating (mainly because of Hemmings' obnoxious character).
I still don't quite understand what Antonioni is getting at or whether the whole thing is merely an exercise, which is a problem I have with his work as a whole.
