Review of Blow-Up (1966) by Jimmy C — 02 Aug 2009
It took me a couple of days to really gather how I felt about this movie. and it really is great. as oliver said, antonioni does the "show it, don't tell it", and he does it brilliantly. the movie really is very slow, but its still at a very distinct pace.
the film is absolutely brilliant, and rather than being simply literal, allows a lot of space for metaphorical visuals. antonioni really is a master of cinema.
