Review of Blow-Up (1966) by Bill T — 01 Dec 2011
Mildly to overly pretentious at times (mind you, so were the 60's I suppose) Blow-Up centers around a photographer and what he sees (or doesnt see) in a photograph he takes while strolling in the park one day.
Mind you, this doesnt happen til the latter half of the film. The first half is just filled with "how to be a moderatedly successful photographer in London in the 60's). This film is just ok, maybe be a tad overrated.
Hemmings (bizarrely third billed here) is great though.
