Review of Blow Out (1981) by Drago? C — 09 Dec 2011
A unbelievably suspenseful thriller and an homage to Hitchcock and Antonioni blow out is well made nostalgia trip. Though Travolta doesn't exactly put in an Oscar-worthy performance it is refreshing to see his post-Grease/SNF but pre Battlefield Earth/Slow Career Suicide self once more. Like meeting an old friend... well, maybe rather like meeting some guy you knew in highschool again...
Still, good movie, great Hitchcockian cinematography, solid Blow-Up-esque story. Worth a watch, worth a buy.
