Review of Blow Out (1981) by Michael L — 29 Jan 2013
A paranoid thriller about a sound-effects guy (John Travolta) who accidentally records a political assassination. It starts with the sounds of screams, builds up a complex plot with realistic characters, and then ends with images and sounds so haunting, you'll be perturbed for hours.
I know I was. This is Brian De Palma at his finest.
