"I didn't hire her for her scream, Jack, I hired her for her tits!" Nice. The 4th film in the Oak Park Movie Night. If you remember my Legend review, I mentioned that a great movie doesn't flat out tell you what time period it was made in.

Well, even though this one comes from the early '80s, it watches as if it was maybe from the '80s, '70s, or even the '60s. That's hard to do. Twas really good, almost perfect...until the end.

Loses some points here cuz it has a very unfinished feel. O, and Nancy Allen really upset me, not necessarily bad acting, but definitely an annoying character. But enough of the negatives, let's talk positive.

The whole film has a very neo-noir sense of paranoia. Some really cool camera work, a top notch lead performance from Travolta, and a tense score from Pino Donaggio. Film buffs should love it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Brian De Palma can do wonders when he wants to.

Wow, I didn't realize it till later, but almost every movie we watched that night was a box office bomb. Interesting.
