Review of Bloody Sunday (2002) by Patrick B — 20 Oct 2007
A great film! Paul Greengrass does such an exceptional job at presenting us with this horrific massacre. The main character is Ivan Cooper. He's a civil rights leader who believes that the only way to gain freedom from the Brits is if there's a peaceful march, but when some of the Irish people break out into a riot, things get ugly, and innocent civilians are gunned down by the British troops.
Bloody Sunday is shocking, intriguing, and heart-wrenching. This is one of those films that people need to see.
