A classic fight movie - THE classic fight movie! Yes, some of it is a bit corny, a lot of the acting is lacking and in many ways it's got the appearance of a B-film but it's fight scenes are superb, it's action intense and interesting, it's the formation of what would become a cliché of a fight movie but Bloodsport is the film that does a lot of making this kind of fight movie so popular that is would become a cliché.
It doesn't try to be more than it look and why should it? It has a general idea and carry it through perfectly, what it wants to be it becomes with perfection. Without a doubt the ultimate fight cult film.
