Review of Bloodsport (1988) by Simon T — 01 Jul 2008
Entertaining to watch if you like the old martial arts thing. A lot of the fighters were actually world champions in their particular disiplines. I personally think the star of the film was actually the man whom the film introduces into acting and that was Bolo Yeung who plays the part of Chong Li.
Entertaining film but the ending was a bit cliched where the hero gets the woman but worth watching if your a fight fan. It must be said though that this film is based on a true story although how much Hollywood have messed about with it is anyones guess.
