Review of Blood: The Last Vampire (2000) by Staci P — 18 Dec 2007

Wanted to watch this to try to understand more of what happens in the anime series, Blood+. Unfortunately, this film only highlighted the fact that Blood+ was created because Blood -- The Last Vampire was almost completely lacking in any kind of explanation and left too many questions unanswered.

The characters were flat and much less personable than in the series. The background animation was quite good, but the character design was terrible. I don't necessarily recommend this film, but I highly recommend the Blood+ series, which is excellent.
