Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Dylan N — 24 Jul 2010
An unpredictable thriller that exhibits several Coen Brothers motifs in their earliest forms. Several of the unforgettable touches that made Fargo and No Country For Old Men such fantastic films are more raw in Blood Simple.
Still, it is obvious that the Coens were great all along, it only took a few films for them to become masterful.
