Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Brad M — 16 Sep 2010
Simply one of the best and finest thrillers I've ever seen. The plot is very simple, an infidelity and revenge story, but this is a film great because the plot has amazing twists that makes it unpredictable.
The direction was marvelous in every way, also were the performances, specially M. Emmet Walsh, who played a terrific villain. Dan Hedaya plays the victim of the film, and the ones who started it all were played by Frances McDormand and John Getz, both brilliant.
Great characters, great suspense, great direction. In my opinion, it's a masterpiece, what a great film.
