Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Ethan R — 14 Sep 2013
Blood Simple is admittedly a bit confusing, but that's not even remotely an issue, seeing as the whole story begins to fit together about halfway through. While the viewer is keeping up with its well-constructed plot, the Coen brothers' odd and engrossing directing keeps them sucked in to the movie.
One of the best directorial debuts I've ever seen.
