Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Robin W — 28 Apr 2013
Blood Simple Has To Be The Greatest Directional Debut, Only One Other Rivals This. Blood Simple Is A Slow-Burn Crime Thriller/Drama About Money & Betrayal. A Bar Owner Hires A Private Detective To Murder His Adulteress Wife & Her Lover.
Of course It's Not That Straightforward, But Saying Any More Would Spoil This Modern Masterpiece. Even If Your Not A Fan Of The Coen Brothers (Like Me), You Can't Deny That This Is A Near Faultless Film.
The Only Directional Debut Which Rivals This Is "Resovoir Dogs". A Must See For Any Film Fan.
