Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Shaun S — 01 Feb 2010
Blood Simple is a very entertaining movie. It grabs you from the start and does't let go when it ends because you are left there stunned. The film is filled with awesome camera work by Barry Sonnenfield and the script is just brilliant.
I will quote someone I don't remember who said it but it is a great way to explain the movie. And he wrote " Too gory to be an art film, too arty to be an exploitation film, funny but not quite a comedy".
I like the directors cut better because they got the rights to the song they originally wanted which was It's The Same Old Song by The Four Tops which fits the movie better then I'm A Believer.
SO if you have not seen this movie I highly suggest it to all movie lovers.
