Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Jordan P — 22 Apr 2010
Apparently the Coen brothers, like Athena, sprung into the world fully-formed. Watched in entirely random order, you'd be hard-pressed to pick this as their first movie. The performances, script, direction, and camerawork are all top-notch and it's one of the most suspenseful movies I've ever seen.
