Review of Blood Hook (1987) by Brett B — 12 Jun 2012
Despite having the dubious distinction of being shot in my home town, this is a total failure, with shoddy production values, amateur acting, and lots of ill-conceived goofiness. I give it a tiny bit of credit (a tiny bit!) for attempting to do something different with its killer character, but even that element is pretty thoroughly botched.
Good for a few unintentional laughs, but not much more.
