Once I wrapped my head around the idea of Mel Gibson playing a tattoo artist, I found this film fairly entertaining. It's coarse and violent, with some decent acting and it's directed with good pacing and some strong action set pieces.
Mel Gibson is actually still a good actor who's been given a bum wrap by Hollywood. Overall, this is good film.
