Review of Blood Creek (2009) by Gil G — 12 Feb 2010
Joel Schumacher, is the man who in poor judgement put the nipples on the batman and robin suits... He started out as a costume maker, and worked his way up to producer and director. With that ambition, He did films like, "8mm", and "A Time to Kill" which are decent movies.
..but missed the mark with Blood Creek completely. with the elements such as a vamp Nazi trying to become a super-being..this should have been a unique and exciting experience. Instead, from its grainy black and white beginning.
..where two bro's out for revenge.. trying to kill the vamp Nazi..all you end up with is one decent scene where a horse turned vamperic attacks the brothers and German family that for some reason are ageless and hiding in there own house from the vamp.
.if this sounds a bit contrived, you have the movie in a nutshell.
