Despite creating a sufficiently creepy atmosphere and a few disturbing chase sequences, Schumacher ultimately fails to deliver any real horror as the movie's laughable plot, bad dialogue, clichéd characterization, and surprisingly poor CGI all nullify the believability factor so crucial for this film genre.
