Review of Blood and Sand (1922) by Ramona P — 02 Jul 2007
See it, and enjoy Hollywood when it was a heaven for the idols like Fairbanks, John Barrymore, and Valentino. The main reason this film should be viewed is for the insight into a bigone era of moviemaking.
It is an adaptation of a popular novel by Vincente Blasco Ibanez, and features an introduction by Orson Welles (the Kino edition).
