Review of Blitz (2011) by Lee H — 07 Feb 2012
Although Gillen steals the film as the villain who hates cops, Statham channels Chev Chelios in his unorthodox detective and that can only be a good thing. The scenes between him and the always excellent Considine are the most entertaining parts of the movie and get the most laughs.
The action is constant and the story though cliched, is entertaining enough to push this thriller above average.
