Review of Blindspotting (2018) by Tor M — 29 Dec 2018
Director Carlos López Estrada's first full lenght and an OK debut. Collin has only days of his probation left and he is making sure he get's his freedom by taking it easy and do the right choices. That's not easy when you're a friend of Miles, a man with few limitations. They work at the same place and spend a lot of sparetime together too.
I found some very good scenes here and I like the hiphop undertones here. Loads of graffiti and even raps. It's actually not that strange as Daveed Diggs as Collin, is better known from the experimental rap group "clipping.".
It's moving forwardly pretty OK but I kind of tire of it. It's not that fresh, just OK on most levels.
6 out of 10 green juices.
