Review of Blindspotting (2018) by James S — 09 Aug 2018
A fun and breezy film at times, but more often it's cringeworthy, ham-fisted and cliched, with a couple truly awful scenes. The protagonist is uninteresting and his best friend is a mildly entertaining degenerate.
The critics who rate this film so highly most likely do so out of a sense of obligation and a desire to connect with a younger and "cooler" culture than their own.
