Review of Blind Fury (1989) by Tim M — 25 Sep 2007
FINALLY! A movie about a vietnam vet who was blinded but now can kill people using his super sonar sound and a cane with a sword in it. Instead of ranting some more, I'm going to post replies to someones review of this on imdb.
"In My opinion this is a classic fighting and thrilling action flick that should satisfy even Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme die hard fans!".
BWAHAHAHA! Man, I don't know. Segal fans have been spoiled with two decades of a pony tailed fat guy mumbling incoherently, and slapping people. You think they're gonna settle for this?! As for JCVD, he's only good when he's Frank Dux or a robot.
"My opinion this is one of the best movies were a fighting hero beats up and/or kills every bad guy in the movie!".
Firstly, GOJIRA. Secondly, you've apparently never seen Stone Cold!! I'm breaking it out again... WAR BOSWORTH!
I actually recommend this because it's so over the top and it knows it. It actually is kind of fun, but that doesn't make it good, Rutger cutting a guy in half with enough force to make him jump backwards through a skyscraper window does though!!
