Review of Blind Fury (1989) by Joshua B — 07 Jan 2010
The American re-imagining of the Zatoichi films from Japan and a great one at that. It brings it to American audiences while still keeping the humor and purpose of the character from the Japanese stories.
Same story about a traveling blind swordsman going from place to place to help others and do good, only staying long enough to succeed then move on. Classic story told very well and Rutger Hauer gives his all.
Awesome.
