Review of Blind Fury (1989) by Ryan T — 31 Jul 2008
I challenge any modern day director to match the insane formula of angry rednecks, profanity, and comedic stylings only ever reproduced in the 3 Ninja movies.
I mean there's a fat redneck named 'Popcorn' that eats lots of popcorn.
Blind Fury is a movie that couldn't care less about plot complexity or subtlety. Its about getting to the dumb jokes, cussing, and death.
This may be Rutger Hauer's finest two hours. Blade Runner doesnt count because that was a replicant, not the real Rutger Hauer.
