You know what? It's an Adam Sandler movie. That said, he and Drew address the idea of step families and all the fun that goes with it. Plus that added twisted touch he's so well known for. Lots of his buddies from past movies make cameos and more. Gotta look for them.
BTW Terry Crews steals every scene he's in. Don't rent it. Buy it. Pop it in when you need a lift.
