Review of Blast from the Past (1999) by Kyle G — 08 Nov 2014
This is an underrated, very funny film. It knows what it is and manages to be quite clever with its premise. When I noticed Brendan Fraser would be the lead I was apprehensive, but he proved to be an earnestly likable character and was pretty funny; in fact I liked pretty much all the characters and didn't even think the romance was too sappy. One issue I had was that Christopher Walken was not very "Walkeny.".
One of the so-called "bad" films that totally surpasses expectations.
