Saw this movie in 1984 as a teenager and loved it. Still watch it now in my 50's anytime it's on one of the premium movie channels I subscribe to. Movie is fun and is not done in poor taste. Disregard the stuffed shirt professional critics reviews.

Joseph Bologna was very funny as usual, and a typical well acted performance by Michael Caine. All the main characters were very good. Movie had a nice pace, and lot's of beautiful scenery. While the subject material is slightly risque, it's nothing to be concerned about.

If your looking for a fun movie with kind of love story vibe and no shooting or killings, this one works out nicely.
