Review of Blair Witch (2016) by Allie T — 17 Sep 2016
I hated Book of Shadows and was intrigued to see Blair Witch since it focused on the premise from the first film, The Blair Witch Project, but I expected more. Some of the context was more of the same, but highlights were learning more about the origin of the Blair Witch, what she did and how she came to be.
Some scenes in the woods were chilling and the ending was quick paced but great. The scenes in the witch house were frightening at times, and the best part was seeing the Blair Witch which happened more than once.
It is insinuated once in the woods, the Blair Witch manipulates time, brings on the darkness, and the woods become a trap that you cannot escape from.
