Review of Blade: Trinity (2004) by Little L — 05 Jan 2010
This film makes me angry as it's just another poor excuse for a money grabbing sequel. The 'crew' set up to kill vampires are a joke! Blind women who can use a computer just fine, even knows what's on the screen at the right time - was there really any need, does her being blind help the story progression in anyway shape or form???
Whistler's daughter who was supposedly killed as child - According to Blade 1, although I'm sure there's some lame excuse as to her survival. She can also shot really, really, really fast with a bow & arrow. To get this point across 2 mins of screen time is used up so you can watch a speed monitor go up and up with each shot - **exciting stuff**.
And then there's Rynolds character whose the most annoying out of them all. His full of irritating one liners that just keep coming thick and fast and then you get teased with thinking he might die early on but no such joy. Sure his meant to be comic relieve but subtle would have been much better than in your face a balance that was achieved perfectly well in 1 & 2.
Overall it sucks and ruined what could have been a cool trilogy but at least all the vamps are dead now so hopefully no more bad, lazy, half hearted sequels.
