I have mixed feeling about this one. It's got quite a bit of good in it, but that's almost outweighed by the amount of bad in it. If you take out everything pertaining to Blade's trouble with the police, the story was actually kind of good. Sooner or later, Blade would have to battle Dracula at some point in this franchise. Unfortunately, Dracula's character was miscast because he didn't look or act the part well.

My main issue with the movie is its overall feel. It just felt too goofy and not dark enough. I would have been more than okay with this if the goofy element had only been done at the hand of Ryan Reynolds' character as the comic relief. But the whole movie was that way and it didn't work.

I had some good action that I enjoyed. And some not so much. Abigail had some really dumb weapons. Now, I don't know if I was just being over-critical of the movie while watching it or if maybe I was holding Blade 1 and 2 on a pedestal, but the action seemed kind of lacking. They could have tried a bit harder and there could have been more of it.

Though I spent most of the review complaining about the movie, it really wasn't all bad.

Those are mostly just elements that just could have been better. The movie itself was still kinda good. Overall, I enjoyed it enough and it was an all right addition to the series.
