Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Sharon D — 07 Oct 2017
I really liked this film, but mainly because of the cinematography and sound effects/music score. It's a visual and auditory delight. It runs almost three hours long and I was getting tired by the end, but for the most part, you are enthralled throughout the whole movie.
The story line suffers though because of ambiguity. For me and my husband especially, it was confusing but maybe on purpose. Kind of like a puzzle you have to figure out. Great acting and let's just say I like the Elvis part the best :-).
One note: maybe they should rethink the year the movie is set in. 2049 is way too close for comfort and the technology way too advanced to be plausible. Would definitely see again.
