Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Bill K — 09 Oct 2017

As with most sequels, I went in to Blade Runner 2049 expecting to be disappointed. One thing gave me hope though - the fact that it was directed by Denis Villeneuve whose The Arrival is an amazing movie.

I was not disappointed by the latest Blade Runner. Atmospheric, thrilling, thought provoking, and quite moving - finally, intelligent science fiction. It tied in very nicely with the original and answered some questions that I've wondered about since 1982.

I will definitely watch this movie again and again. Great characters, great actors, and a fantastic story. I think there will be a sequel and I can't wait to see it.
