Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by P H — 10 Oct 2017

I'm an avid Philip K. Dick fan, I had been looking forward to this movie for a long time; but was very apprehensive about it. If YOU are a Philip K. Dick fan, or a Bladerunner fan, the film will not disappoint! It delivered on it's promise to be a worthy sequel to such an amazing movie; this film could stand on it's own. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Excellent job. Simply amazing how they were able to capture the same tone, the same world as 35 years ago. I would not know that 35 years had past between movies, it was that seamless. I am haunted by the story and amazing scenery of this film, the effects linger long after the film is over. The pacing, the camerawork, the actors, the scenery.....all top notch. Thank you for taking your time and getting it right, treating the source material with the respect it deserves.

Take this for what it is, I can't recall the last time I attended a movie and the audience was SILENT throughout. That's how gripping this film is. When the credits rolled, applause. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!
