One of, if not the, most beautiful films I've ever seen. Fantastic visuals. Wonderful, though inconsistent, acting. My personal favorite score/soundtrack to any film ever. (Or possibly it's a tie with Star Wars.
) The influence from film noir is not only an ingenious idea, it's ingeniously pulled off. I love the story, I love the characters, I love the music, and I love the filmmaking. Highly recommended to science fiction and noir fans alike, as well as just about anyone else.
