Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Brice H — 29 Feb 2016
Very well made. The aesthetics are wonderful, and the futurism enveloped me. It mixes sci-fi and film noir genres nicely.
I know it's a classic, but I felt like the story was underdeveloped, i.e. the love story and chase/fight scenes (Deckard is thrown around much like a human fighting a robot would be, but I still would've liked more dynamic fights).
I loved Rutger Hauer's monologue towards the end.
Definitely worth a rent.
