Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Jack W — 01 Oct 2017

One of the few movies that I can honestly say is damn near perfect! Ridley Scott at his absolute finest with this film. The acting by everyone involved is just breath taking. Following Deckard as he hunts the Nexus model replicants had me glued to the screen the whole time.

The replicants make the audience feel for them. All they want is what humanity wants as well. To live a longer life. What would you do if you knew your day was coming? would you just roll over and accept it, or would you fight for more time? That is the main theme throughout this epic film.

Harrison Ford brings it as he starts as a cold hearted Blade Runner and slowly turns when he meets this mysterious new model of replicant. Being human is just a state of mind. The film makes the audience think and leaves everyone with the question, is Deckard a replicant? Once you view the final cut I think it is glaringly obvious, but everyone can bring their own opinion to it.

I can't recommend this film any higher.
